Video: How to Break Up With Your Friends
A conversation with author and psychologist Erin Falconer
Margit had a great chat with author Erin Falconer about friendships in midlife and how we work on (or don't work on 👀) these vital relationships. Erin's most recent book, How to Break Up with Your Friends: Finding Meaning, Connection, and Boundaries in Modern Friendships, was just released in January and is definitely worth a read.

Margit and Erin talked about the fact that by midlife we’ve collected so many friends and relationships, and how important it is to nurture the ones that are most valuable to us.
Why don’t we talk more about our friendships — with our friends? Margit asked.
"I think there's a kind of a stigma,” said Erin. “We've never done it. We think about these relationships as nice to have… But they are actually crucial to our physical and mental health."
It was a really insightful chat – we hope you enjoy it!
