NEW ISSUE: Self-Care
As we wind down this 2021 — the shit show keeps on keepin’ on! — we are reminded, once again, that taking good care of ourselves needs to be the constant in a world of whiplash changes. Even if the term “self-care” feels worn out and emptied after so much IG overexposure, our own self-care makes the world a much better place. So this month, we’re putting on our oxygen masks first and sharing a few ways we’re caring for yours truly. Here’s to a self-caring 2022 for us all!

OBSESSED: HappyLight SAD Lamp
By Jen Roventine
“HappyLight, you’re more than just an inanimate desk object. You’re my daily dose of full-spectrum light in a world (cough, Minnesota) that’s often ugly and gray. In this frozen land of 10,000 lakes, you’re the 10,000 lux that keeps me going until the spring thaw. When I spend time with you, my mood lifts, I feel more energy, and my focus is restored. I’ve come to rely on you as much as my morning coffee, and that’s saying a lot.”
