Basic bio: Jackie Ghedine is a career coach, business strategist, and co-founder of Modern Gen X Woman, an organization on a mission to make Generation X the wealthiest female generation. She does this by helping women articulate their value so they can demand their worth. Each week, the Modern Gen X Woman podcast provides insights, ideas, and strategies to support women achieve professional success.

Beyond the bio: My nickname is the Jack Russell of humans because I'm fun, optimistic, and full of energy. When I want something, I sink my teeth in and don't let go until I get it. I believe success doesn't have to mean sacrifice. Fun fact: I'm an only child, married to an only child and we have an only child.

What makes you a grown-ass lady? We've been brainwashed to believe if we work hard we'll get noticed. It's BS and I want to stop perpetuating this myth. As I entered my 40s I also recognized my worth is not determined by anyone else and I don't need external validation to know I'm worthy. I am enough.

Last thing you lost: My eyeglasses and boy oy boy is it hard to do anything when I misplace them.

Best thing that happened recently: Morning snuggles with my 13-year-old daughter (love she still enjoys this every morning).

Looking forward to: Turning 50 this summer. My life has been amazing and the next chapter will be even better!
