The first 30 to RSVP at swarde@netflix.com will score a complimentary ticket. Hurry!
Here’s what’s on our watch list, this week:
Becoming Frida Kahlo (PBS): Explore the life of celebrated artist Friday Kahlo in a three-part docuseries. See the major personal and political events in her life, including her stormy and devoted relationship with artist Diego Rivera, whom she married not once but twice.
American Horror Story | Delicate (FX, Hulu): The 12th installment of the award-winning anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. After multiple failed attempts of IVF, actress Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) wants nothing more than to start a family. As the buzz around her recent film grows, she fears that something may be targeting her — and her pursuit of motherhood.
Kim Kardashian takes on the role of Siobhan Walsh, who serves as Anna's closest friend and trusted confidante.
Sex Education | Season 4 (Netflix): Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) now face a new frontier—their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, while Eric is praying they won’t be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students—they thought they were progressive but this new college is another level.
Meanwhile, in the U.S., Maeve (Emma Mackey) is pursuing her dreams at Wallace University, guided by cult author Thomas Molloy (played by the ever-hilarious Dan Levy). TueNight fave Gillian Anderson reprises her role as Otis' sex therapist mother.
No One Will Save You (Hulu): The sci-fi horror film introduces Brynn Adams (Kaitlyn Dever), a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up — until she's awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders. What follows is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.
Trailer’s creep factor: Hiding under the bed classic, like a childhood nightmare come to life.
The Continental: From the World of John Wick (Peacock): The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.
ICYMI: The Continental is a chain of hotels around the world that serves as a neutral ground for members of the underworld; the hotel workers of the Continental try to handle the hitmen and murderers who come to stay.
