AG and Mother Jeans. I'm the queen of online second hand. The key to buying successfully on sites like Poshmark is to know your size. My favorite recent obsession is buying another brand of jeans I wore in 2002. Blue jean jacket to match.
I’m an NYDJ addict. For decades. No matter how my waistline grows (or shrinks, tho that ship has sailed now) they always fit just right. Nice deep rise too. Booty caressing, but never restrictive. Plus being a 10 but fitting into their 6’s and 8’s brings a tiny thrill to my self esteem. And a choice of length is a godsend. I wore them at 30 (when I could afford them) and am still at 66. Also a quick note about StitchFix-every pair of jeans they ever sent in a Fix fit beautifully. They weren’t always flattering or an appropriate cut as I got older but they fit! I highly recommend StitchFix if you feel clueless in today’s retail clothing environment. I no longer get Fixes but I still shop there!
Team wearing the dark wash skinny jeans I already have and not buying any new jeans until they bring them back lol. Too pear-shaped to do the straight leg without feeling frumpy, especially when it is boot season and I can't wear them cropped with sandals. The Old Navy pop icon jeans have a skinny/curvy silhouette but are also pretty forgiving, FWIW.
I want Meg Ryan's jeans from the 1995 film French Kiss. They're basically a loose tent of jeans held up by a black belt and accessorized with Doc Martens. They're the jean equivalent of writer-soft-pants and can be found here... https://www.missmoss.co.za/2014/01/french-kiss/ I guess what I'm saying is I'm ready for my crone-up, Mr. DeMille, lol???
Definitely co-opting the phrase blooming booty ;-)

This too, I actually dug through the back of my closet for the dark wash skinny jeans circa 2013 or so and was like, ok, these work!
