I love a trench but i don’t love double-breasted, which seems to be standard on a women’s style. But not on the men’s! I should get the sleeves shortened but otherwise I love it-- good value, well made, and real pockets!
I got a black lightweight quilted coat from a UK company last year and I wear it every day the temperature falls below 60. It is pretty much the only coat I wear anymore; it's very layerable and you can (yes, I'm going to say it) dress it up or down. Nordstorm has some Barbour jackets that might fit the bill.
I have my eye on this: https://www.thisisaday.com/products/the-legacy-trench-black. It’s a spend for me, even with the 15% off for first time buyers - but it is a classic! 🤔
Ooooh! That’s a cool coat!!!
I am thinking about this basic jean jacket from Able which comes in extended sizes. 🙌 https://www.ableclothing.com/products/merly-jacket - I have a Jean jacket already but might need this one too!
That is a cute jacket!! I might need that.
Maybe with a faux fur over it? 😉
You and your fake fur!
I got myself one of these: https://www.quince.com/men/comfort-stretch-trench-coat-1

The double-breasted and the epaulets on a traditional women's trench are waaaay too much fabric on my 5'4' body. Men's coat is a great idea.
