We just replaced our two beds with more standard foam topped mattresses on individually wrapped springs (BeautyRest PressureSmart) after 10 years on natural latex. We loved our old beds at first but once we you cozied into the form fitting latex we were stuck there. We eventually got tired of having to get up out of bed to roll over.

We bought the Dreamcloud bed. It’s firm and was well priced. It also came with two pillows that actually support our necks as well as a full set of sheets that keep getting softer with each wash and without fabric softener.

A few years ago, out of the clear blue, my mattress AND pillow became horrific and I was always uncomfortable and couldn’t figure out why.

NOTE: That I was sleeping on a 100% memory foam beast that was super hot and my body created a crater in it. I also was forced into an emergency move, so I threw it out.

Then my un-magical mystery tour of the mattress buying world began.

My best source of info was the show, β€œAdam Ruins Everything” (watch every episode and learn why everything sucks!) - and haven’t been happy since.

THEY ARE ALL TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE!

AND THE SALESPEOPLE ARE WORSE THAN THE ONES AS USED CAR LOTS IN FRESNO IN 1978!

Ugh.

We just went back to a coil mattress after a decade of latex. We also bought the head and feet lifter. Which cuts snoring waaaaay down.
