I love that show. I’m struggling a little bit with the second season. It just really feels like there’s not much that’s happening; I know that’s kind of the point. Does it get better?
I agree with you, Margit! I loved the first season, Joanna, but this second season... I'm just not as engaged. I hope it picks up, because I do love the characters and actors so much!
I hear you both! I think they are settling in, finding the longer-term storylines. I also think the death of Mike Hagerty probably threw the show off a little.
For now, I'm happy to just watch Sam and Joel do anything. I'm guessing the wedding will be the big climactic moment of the season. And I really hope HBO gives SS a third season to let them stretch their wings.
I really enjoyed the first two "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies. Unlike many superhero movies, which take themselves so seriously, the first two made me laugh out loud many times! But I saw the third one in the theatre this weekend, and while it had a great (animal rights) message, it was very dark, and just not nearly as funny. It also seemed like it was one action scene after another, and maybe one or two too many, which I found a little boring. All in all, I just didn't love it. I know it's probably not a typical Tue Night demographic's film, but did anyone else see it? I'm curious what others' responses are...

I watched “Air” this weekend and I absolutely loved it and I’m not exactly a sports fanatic. Viola Davis is outstanding in it.

I’m a Marvel fan so it’s been on my watch list -- definitely going to check it out now.
