It’s a dreary morning and I don’t wanna get out of bed. My cat is cuddled up with me. I have my coffee and my phone and I might just stay here for a while. How’s your day starting?
But to really contribute to this thread, i’ll talk about my new hobby. I am refinishing old free dumped furniture. I found out that my library lends out tools, which makes it a lot easier to start something like this. My first piece is a night stand, and I’m very excited about it.
Love it, Wendy! And I think it’s super cool that your library lends out tools. Would love to learn more about the process — will you be posting the progress of your projects anywhere online?
I am wondering about growing my humor. I am listening to podcasts, got books on my to read list all in an effort to strengthen my funny bone lens for life, including work. I want to make people chuckle in my virtual meetings and cackle with the freedom of a child more. I may need to find an in-person group of women interested in the same. Laughter, it's the life's self help.
Ohhhh I have a recco for you. Check out Gold Comedy. I can’t say enough good things about them. There’s a fee to join but I assure you it’s worth it. If you take one of their classes I think you get a free membership? (I could be wrong.) https://goldcomedy.com

I just looked at the site and I know Lynn Harris, the founder. I took a humor writing class from her via Media Bistro ages ago. She is great!
